Some of the many reasons that we created this group include strengthening two-way communication between neighborhoods and the Councilmember and working on projects should help build pride and sense of community in District 1. The District 1 Leadership Group meetings on the second Saturday of odd-numbered months from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Meeting locations vary depending on site availability. Each community-based organization, neighborhood group, or business association recognized by the District 1 Councilmember may have up to two voting members in the District 1 Leadership Group, however, everyone is invited to attend to learn more about the District 1 community.
